Michael Rainsbury
Michael Rainsbury is Head of Adult Education at the London School of Jewish Studies (LSJS). Following his aliyah in 2013, he directed World Bnei Akiva gap year programmes and served as Associate Director at Yeshivat Eretz HaTzvi. In 2020, he created the first dedicated English language tours of the Israeli President’s Residence in Jerusalem, guiding groups in person and online. He is also an educator for JRoots, leading Jewish heritage trips to Poland.
Born and raised in the UK, he started his educational career with Bnei Akiva, where he was Education Worker and National Director. As a student of LSJS, he gained an MA in Jewish Education (University of London) and Qualified Teacher Status, whilst also teaching Jewish Studies and History at King Solomon High School. He now lives in Modi'in, Israel, together with his wife Dana and their children.
