Rabbi Daniel Torgmant
Rabbi Daniel Torgmant has served as Rabbi of A.C.C.I.M. – Edmond J. Safra Synagogue in Monaco since 2010. He received his Rabbinic ordination from Machon Ariel in Jerusalem and holds a BA in Hebrew and Civilization from Inalco Institute and an MA in Hebrew and Jewish Thought from the University of Strasbourg II.
Rabbi Daniel is involved in the Conference of European Rabbis. He is married to Deborah and has four children. In 2025, Rabbi Torgmant was selected to join cohort three of the Sacks Scholars.
Speaker Profile
Rav Daniel Torgmant gave a lecture in 2025 on the topic of “Man was created in the image of G-d… was AI created in the image of Man?” The purpose of the lecture was to reflect on what constitutes the uniqueness of a human being in relation to AI.
He also gave a recent lecture for teenagers examining the difference between happiness and joy in life.
