Students and staff from King Solomon School in Kfar Hayarok came together for a day of Jewish learning in partnership with The Rabbi Sacks Legacy. ‘Legacy of Light: Passing the Torch to the Next Generation’ offered an encounter with the teachings of Rabbi Sacks.

The day featured a lineup of educators from The Rabbi Sacks Legacy, including members of the professional team and Sacks Scholars: Rabbi Dr. Daniel Rose, Rabbanit Karen Miller Jackson, Jonny Lipczer, Rabbanit Sarah Sharman Moser, and Jonathan Levy. Each brought Rabbi Sacks’ ideas to life through engaging sessions that tackled big questions of identity, freedom, faith, leadership, and the role of social media in shaping Jewish speech.

The programme was opened by King Solomon School’s Head, Rabbi Cobi Ebrahimoff, and concluded with a student-led Q&A panel where the speakers answered questions on Rabbi Sacks’ philosophy.
