Basya Gartenstein is a community relations consultant specializing in interreligious coalition building, Jewish communal development, and conflict transformation.
She holds a Master of Divinity from Yale University and has worked with the Joint Distribution Committee, Jewish Federation, and the Muslim-Jewish Conference. Basya has managed diplomatic initiatives with the Regional Organization for Peace Economics & Security (ROPES) across the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East and received scholarships from the U.S. Department of State and Omani Embassy in D.C. in advanced Arabic study and intercultural exchange. She is passionate about harnessing differences as a catalyst for intercommunal understanding, growth, and resilience. Basya regularly collaborates with communities in the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East.
