The landmark volume on Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks zt”l is now available
Tradition, in partnership with the Rabbi Sacks Legacy, is delighted to announce the release of a landmark collection: The Intellectual Legacy of Rabbi Jonathan Sacks zt”l, edited by Samuel Lebens, Jeffrey Saks, and Tzvi Sinensky.
For decades, Rabbi Sacks stood as a towering moral and spiritual voice in Jewish and public life. This special volume - the largest ever published in the journal's nearly seven-decade history - brings together 19 original essays that engage his ideas with both reverence and rigour.
More than a statesman of faith, Rabbi Sacks was a dynamic and evolving thinker whose writings continue to inspire learning, dialogue, and debate. In the spirit of Rabbi Sacks himself, who always encouraged dialogue and deeper thought, this collection invites readers not only to admire his teachings but to wrestle with their depth, trace their development, and consider how his insights might illuminate today’s most pressing questions.
Readers can now view the table of contents, volume introductions, sample chapters, and abstracts online. Non-subscribers may purchase a print edition, or download the volume for Kindle on Amazon.
Contributing authors:
