About the Book
A Letter in the Scroll was published during Rabbi Sacks' first decade as Chief Rabbi. It remains a significant work on religious and Jewish identity.
A whiteboard animation based on the book's closing chapter, "Why I Am A Jew," became an instant success. In December 2023, a booklet containing that chapter - translated into Hebrew - was distributed to 50,000 IDF soldiers.
