Bennett Schachter

Bennett Schachter is a managing director at a New York-based hedge fund. Prior to that, he was a managing director at Morgan Stanley, where he headed their Global Alternative Capital business, and at Goldman Sachs, where he ran the firm’s Global Alternative Capital and Global Structured Equity businesses.
Bennett graduated summa cum laude from Yeshiva University, where he served as chairperson of Yeshiva University’s President’s Circle. He currently serves on the board of trustees of Yeshivat Frisch in Paramus, NJ. His prior board memberships include Yeshivat Noam in Paramus, NJ, and Project Ezrah in Teaneck, NJ.
Bennett is a long-time supporter and friend of Rabbi Sacks and an ardent believer in his philosophy of living the beauty of Torah and Judaism with appreciation for the best of Western humanities and values. He resides in Bergenfield, NJ, with his wife, Tammi, and their three children, Jonah, Hannah, and Max.
