Rabbi Dr. Jay Goldmintz is a Tanakh and Jewish Philosophy teacher at Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School in Teaneck, New Jersey, where he has taught for twelve years. He received his ordination, master's degree, and doctorate in Jewish education from Yeshiva University.
Rabbi Dr. Goldmintz spent thirty-two years at Ramaz High School in New York — twelve as a faculty member and twenty as an administrator — before choosing to return to the classroom. He is the author of the Koren Ani Tefillah series of siddurim, has published numerous articles, served as an adjunct professor at Azrieli Graduate School, and is a senior educational adviser at Lifnai Vlifnim Olami, having been among the first to implement its work on a school-wide level.
