Rabbi Yaakov (Jason) Moser

Rabbi Yaakov (Jason) Moser, originally from London, earned a Bachelor's degree in Jewish History from UCL. After making Aliyah in 1998, he studied at Yeshivat HaKibbutz HaDati in Kibbutz Ein Tzurim, receiving rabbinical ordination from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. He also earned a Master’s degree in Talmud from Bar-Ilan University.

Yaakov is an actuary and currently serves as the Chief Actuary for Non-Life Insurance at Menora Mivtachim Insurance Company. He volunteers as an MDA ambulance driver, as a rabbi conducting weddings for the Tzohar organization and teaches modern Jewish philosophy at Mechinat Ruach Hasadeh. Additionally, he is working towards a Doctorate in Modern Jewish Thought at the Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership. Yaakov and his wife live in central Israel with their six children.

In 2025, Rabbi Moser was selected to join cohort three of the Sacks Scholars.
