Rabbi Ramon Widmonte
Rabbi Widmonte is the co-founder and Dean of the Academy of Jewish Thought and Learning, and the founder of the NED (National Education Development) programme, South Africa's leading Jewish organisations for adult education and teacher training. He studied at Yeshivat Har Etzion, and he served in the IDF.
Rabbi Widmonte holds a degree in Mathematics & Computer Science, as well as an MA in Jewish Education. He is also the author of the first ever translation of the Maharal's Tiferet Yisrael, with the second volume expected to be published soon. He is married to Julie and they have three children.
