Mickey Flaumenhaft
Mickey Flaumenhaft is the Director of Development at American Friends of Migdal Ohr, where he leads fundraising initiatives and strengthens ties between Israeli society and world Jewry. He also regularly speaks in communities and schools across the United States as a scholar-in-residence.
Mickey previously led development and alumni relations at Midreshet Moriah and consulted for non-profits like Hamakom in Tel Aviv and Yeshivat Otniel, where he also studied and served as Director of Development. Prior to this he was a Shaliach for Bnei Akiva UK and the Jewish Agency, working with northern England Jewish communities and teaching at King David High School. Mickey is a veteran combat soldier in the Nahal Brigade and continues to serve in the IDF reserves. He holds a B.Ed. from Herzog College and lives in the US with his wife, Ortal, and their five children.
