Dr Doran (Dodie) Katz
Dr Dodie Katz is the Senior Director of Jewish Day School Strategies and Dean of the Truman Scholars Program at Tikvah. Prior to this, she served as Assistant Professor of Curriculum and Pedagogy & Applied Linguistics, as well as Assistant Director of Graduate Studies at the Middlebury School of Hebrew. She has also held faculty positions at Brandeis University and The George Washington University.
Dr. Katz earned her Doctorate in Curriculum and Pedagogy from The George Washington University and completed post-doctoral training in Psychoanalytic Studies at the Washington Baltimore Center of Psychoanalysis. She holds an MA in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies and a BA in Anthropology, Hebrew Language & Literature, and Near Eastern & Judaic Studies, from Brandeis University.
Dr. Katz lives with her family in the suburbs of Washington, DC.
