Consider Forgiveness: The Holocaust

This series on Forgiveness was created by the Fetzer Institute along with the Elijah Institute in 2012. It features interviews with leaders and scholars from the Sikh, Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish, and Christian traditions. The interviews were filmed in Amritsar, India, at Sharing Wisdom: The Case of Love and Forgiveness, a meeting of the Elijah Interfaith Institute’s board of religious leaders.

In this video, Rabbi Avraham Soetendorp (of the Netherlands), Rabbi Jonathan Sacks (Chief Rabbi of Britain and the Commonwealth), Rabbi Richard Marker (of the USA) and Immam Maulana Umer Ilyasi (of India) look at the concept of forgiveness through the difficult lens of the Holocaust.
