Blowing the Shofar with the Mayor

Watch London Mayor Boris Johnson at the ground-breaking ceremony for London’s new Jewish Community Centre building in Finchley, North London. Standing together on 7 October, the day before the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), Boris tries to blow the Shofar and when he fails, the Chief Rabbi Lord Sacks shows him how it’s done.
