Calev Ben-Dor

Calev Ben-Dor made Aliyah from London in 2005 and works at the intersection of Israel’s geostrategic “policy world,” as well as in education. He has served as a national security analyst at the Reut Institute, worked in the policy planning division of the Israeli Foreign Ministry, and as Director of Research at BICOM. He is the editor of BICOM’s journal Fathom, where he writes about Israeli society and politics. In addition, Calev teaches modern Israeli/Zionist thought, and Jewish texts at LSJS, Pardes, and Yeshivat Eretz Hatzvi. He has previously contributed to the 929 project and Haaretz and also writes essays for the Cardozo Institute.
Calev’s educational background includes studies at Yeshivat HaKibbutz HaDati, Leeds, and LSE. He resides in Jerusalem with his wife and two children.
