Four books. Sixteen guests. One transformative journey.

This week saw the launch of a new podcast series inspired by Rabbi Sacks. Books and Beyond: The Rabbi Sacks Podcast, created and hosted by Dr Tanya White, includes an impressive array of distinguished guests featured across the series. The new podcast explores some of Rabbi Jonathan Sacks’ most powerful ideas featured in four of his most influential books (A Letter in the Scroll, Future Tense, Morality, and To Heal A Fractured World). There are two episodes dedicated to each book, and eight episodes in total.

Dr White, a Sacks Scholar from the inaugural cohort of Scholars, also serves as a senior lecturer at the Matan Women’s Institute of Torah Learning and the London School of Jewish Studies (LSJS). Her vision was to create a podcast series which explores Rabbi Sacks’ books and then move beyond them into the present day. She carefully selected the books which inspire, the questions that challenge, and the conversations with guests who can bring the discussions to life. The result is a podcast which offers fresh perspectives on how the values of identity, morality, and responsibility apply to our fractured world. Featuring 16 high-profile voices who knew and were inspired by Rabbi Sacks, this series is a journey into Rabbi Sacks’ enduring relevance.
