Statement on the passing of David Landau

On hearing of the sad passing of the former Ha’aretz editor, David Landau, Rabbi Sacks said:

“David Landau was one of British Jewry’s outstanding contributions to the life and letters of the State of Israel. He was a man of the spirit, with the conscience of a latter day prophet, unafraid to speak truth to power. We will miss him greatly.”
