Gila Sacks

Gila Sacks is the Director of Services at the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities, Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC, UK), and she is the youngest daughter of Rabbi Sacks.
Prior to joining the Department for Health and Social Care in 2020, Gila held senior policy roles across government, including in the Departments of Digital, Business, and Education, as well as Policy Adviser to the Prime Minister & Private Secretary to the Permanent Secretary at 10 Downing Street, the official office and residence of the British Prime Minister.
As Director of Prevention Services, Gila is responsible for policies and programmes to prevent disease and reduce health risks.
She lives in London and has taught and volunteered across the Jewish community.
