The Young Sacks Scholars Programme
The Young Sacks Scholars Programme seeks to inspire high school seniors with excellent leadership skills across Modern Orthodox schools in North America through a unique learning experience about Rabbi Sacks.
The program is conducted through 20 Zoom sessions on Sundays, run by Rabbi Sacks Scholars. Each speaker chooses a different topic from the writings and lectures of Rabbi Sacks' with a particular focus on leadership, responsibility and the need to make a difference in this world.
Overall, the goal of our program is to carry on Rabbi Sacks' teachings and legacy, by creating a new cohort of Young Sacks Scholars that will develop a greater interest in and become more closely connected on Rabbi Sacks. The students will gain knowledge and skills from the lectures to carry them throughout their lives and will hopefully share that knowledge and perspective with others. The sky's the limit in terms of the potential of what these students will accomplish and how we can utilize them in the future.
This is an initiative created by Rabbi Seth Grauer, a member of the inaugural cohort of Sacks Scholars.
