God Transcends Natural Life
“Any system is made up of rules that govern events within the system. Those rules explain how the system works, but not why it was created or evolved. That is why Darwinism fulfils an important function for Abrahamic monotheism. It tells us that God, having created the conditions for life, transcends life as He transcends the universe. The idea that we should look for God in nature is essentially pagan and constitutes a pagan residue even within the great Aristotle himself. Faith says, all that breathes praises God. It does not say, all that breathes proves the existence of God.”
