The Great Partnership

 Are science and religion parallel activities? Can they ever come together? Rabbi Sacks believes that science is one thing, religion is another and they are like the twin hemispheres of the brain. Science takes things apart to see how they work. Religion puts things together to see what they mean. This is the core argument of his new book "The Great Partnership: God, Science and the Search for Meaning."

On Wednesday 25th January 2012, the Rabbi Sacks engaged in a public conversation with ABC journalist Dr Norman Swan. The conversation took place in The Great Synagogue in Sydney, as part of his last official visit through Australia in his role as Chief Rabbi of the Commonwealth.
