Jerusalem, the Beating Heart of Jewish Faith

Celebrating this old-new city

On the 28th day of the month of Iyar (in the Hebrew calendar), we celebrate Yom Yerushalayim.

Im eshkachech Yerushalayim. We will never forget our city, Jerusalem.

This is a short video narrated by Rabbi Sacks, celebrating this old new city, for an old and renewed people.

Rabbi Sacks:

“Jerusalem, the golden city never forgotten, the beating heart of Jewish faith in every generation.

Jerusalem, the city of peace, where you can feel the Divine Presence like nowhere else on earth, the focus of Jewish life and prayer.

Jerusalem, the old new city, for the old and renewed people.”
